Covid 19 Case in Seward County Closes City Offices to Public

With a positive test of Covid 19 reported Monday morning in Seward County, the City of Liberal is closing their offices to the public.  A City of Liberal resolution 2328 says “That in the event of  a confirmed case of Covid 19 in Seward County, Kansas, then all city facilitiess housing city staff will be off limits to the public expect for the city airport, public transportation, and Liberal Police Department.  City staff shall work as scheduled and shall make reasonable efforts to limit contact and exercise social distancing while fulfilling job responsibilities.  Efforts hall be made to ensure that the public is adequately served in all respects while maintaining health and safety of city staff and the public.”
