City/County Offices Closed for Veterans Day, Canvassing will Take Place

Joe Denoyer - November 8, 2019 4:31 pm

All Seward County and City of Liberal offices will be closed on Monday, November 11th, 2019 in order to observe Veteran’s Day. However the Seward County Clerk’s Office will be open at 9:00am for the canvassing of the votes from Tuesday November 5th’s General Election. It appears there are 28 provisional ballots that will be considered by the canvassing board. In the City Commission and School board races, just a few votes separate some of the candidates, so the unofficial results could change. Keep monitoring kscbnews.net for the official results as they become available.

Business will resume Tuesday, November 12th for both entities, at normal business hours.
