Cimmaron Man Injured in a One Vehicle Accident

A one vehicle accident occurred Monday afternoon at approximately 2:55pm 3 miles east of Montezuma on Highway 56. A 2013 Kenworth semi being driven by Rick Immroth, 74, of Cimmaron was going East on US 56at milepost 98. The semi veered off of the road into the North ditch, over the railroad tracks and came to rest on the North side of the railroad tracks in a field.
Immroth was taken to St. Catherine’s Hospital in Garden City to be treated for his injuries.
