Candidate Forums Continue At The Rock Island Depot

Voters will get a chance to hear Seward County Commission candidates Thursday evening, July 10th at a candidate forum that begins at 7:00pm on Talkradio 1270 and The Liberal Chamber of Commerce invites the public to attend the forum at the Rock Island Depot. Questions may be submitted prior to and during the forum at [email protected] or call 624-3855. Written questions will also be taken from the live audience during the forum. The candidates include: District 2, Republican Ada Linenbroker, Incumbent, Republican Monalicia Arredondo, and Democrat Darrell K. Long. District 3 Republican Incumbent Randy Malin, Republican Gladis Gomez Fornwalt. District 4 Republican Nathan McCaffrey.

The next scheduled Candidate Forum will be July 15th, also at 7:00pm at the Depot, and will feature candidates for the 125th District for the Kansas House of Representatives, Shannon Francis and Jim Rice. Also at this Forum will be State Board of Education 5th District candidates Republicans Sally Cauble, Incumbent, and Meg Wilson. Questions can be submitted for these forums as well.
