Bulldogs Sweep Horny Toads

The Liberal Bulldogs were itching to play again. After having their tournament at Great Bend rained out, Liberal’s Senior Babe Ruth baseball team returned with a vengeance Monday night beating the Hooker Horny Toads 10-6 and 17-1. Austen Pitts went 5-7 with a homer, triple, and two doubles on the night. In game one, Moscow’s Ty Herman was 3-4 with a triple and a double and Fredrick Gomez was 2-3. Liberal is 9-1 and plays at Garden City Wednesday night.
