BJ’s Walk Off with Win Over Bombers

The Liberal Bee Jays beat the Colorado Bombers 4-3 Saturday night at Brent Gould Field. Pepperdine’s Bryce Baugh hit a sacrifice fly to center field to score the winning run in the bottom of the ninth. Western Nevada’s Logan Odom pitched eight strong innings in a no-decision. Seward’s Bobby Doran (1-1) pitched a scoreless ninth for the win. Oklahoma State’s Dylan Brown tripled off the center field wall against the wind in the second inning to drive home two runs. Midland’s Reid Redman single home Brown for the BJ’s second inning. The Bee Jays are 11-11 and play the Colorado Renegades Sunday night at 7:00 PM. Seaboard Foods is the buyout sponsor.
