Bee Jays Hold on for Win in Dodge

The Liberal Bee Jays won a wild one Friday night in Dodge City by a score of 10-8.

Liberal led 5-0 and 8-2, before the A’s fought back to tie the game at eight in the sixth inning. The Bee Jays took the lead for good though in the eighth with two runs.

Marc Gomez led the way for Liberal with a three-run homer in the game.

The Bee Jays have now won 14 out of their last 16 games. They are now 23-8 overall, and 15-8 in the Jayhawk League.

Liberal will host Dodge City tonight in a doubleheader at Brent Gould Field at 5 p.m. They will play two seven inning games. The games will air on 1270 AM and right here on kscbnews.net.
