Bee Jays blank El Dorado

The Liberal Bee Jays earned a much needed conference victory Wednesday with a 4-0 shutout victory over the El Dorado Broncos.

Don Lisi earned the win pitching 7 and 2/3 innings giving up no runs and improving to 1-1 on the season.

Offensively John Haines had two rbi’s in the win. Tanner Rindels and Dylan Brown each added one. Liberal scored one run in the second, two in the seventh, and added one in the eighth.

El Dorado drops to 9-4 in the Jayhawk league. The Bee Jays improve to 7-8 and will host the Colorado Bombers in a non-league game Thursday at 7 p.m. There will be no broadcast as it is non-league.
