Bee Jays Bats Stay Silent in Loss at Derby

The Liberal Bee Jays woes at the plate in league play continued Saturday in Derby as the Twins shutout the Bee Jays 3-0.

Liberal only had three hits in the loss and now only has ten hits in their last three league games.

Don Lisi pitched well despite the loss. He gave up two earned runs and one unearned run with ten strikeouts and just one walk. Cameron Collard came in relief and gave up one unearned run.

The Bee Jays drop to 17-16 overall, and 9-13 in the Jayhawk League. They will host Dodge City on Tuesday at 7 p.m.
