Baker Arts To Offer Childrens Workshops

Raiders of the Lost Art

The arts of Egypt will be researched in the Baker Arts Center’s September Workshop for K-6th grade students by creating hieroglyphic cartouches, sphinxes, pyramids, scarab beetles, and mummies. This class meets on Wednesdays, September 9, 16, 23, 30 from 3:45 to 4:45 pm. The cost is $15.00 for members and $20.00 for nonmembers.

Rolling Out the Arts

Pint sized painters will get the paint rolling in the Baker Arts Center’s September ARTStart Preschool Workshop for ages 3-5 by sending marbles, golf balls, tennis balls, toy car wheels, and roller printers across colored and textured papers for criss-cross and color mixing effects. Swirling ribbon dancers to music keep the action moving. This class meets on Wednesday, September 9, 16, 23, 30 from 11:00 am to 12:00. The cost is $15.00 for members and $20.00 for nonmembers .
