Ashland Man Dies in Meade County Accident

Calvin McGonigle, 56, of Ashland died in a rollover accident late Wednesday night. The accident occured at approximately 11:20pm on K23 Highway in Meade County.
McGonigle was driving a 1996 Ford Explorer and was traveling south bound on K23 when his vehicle blew a tire and he lost control. The Explorer then entered the ditch, started to roll and then entered a culvert ending up in its top.
McGonigle was taken to Western Plains Medicle Complex where he died from his injuries.
He was not wearing his seat belt at the time of the accident.
