Arkalon Park to Open Friday

Joe Denoyer - March 28, 2018 5:38 pm

Arkalon Park will open this Friday afternoon for its regular season. The City Recreation Department will host the Easter Egg Hunt at 1:00 p.m. on Friday at Arkalon Park and will remain open after that for the season. The Park normally opens on April 1, but due to the Spring weather, the Arkalon Council determined there was no need to wait until Sunday to open the Park. The facility will open daily at 7:00 am and close at 10 pm through October 15.

Camping is available at $5 per night without electrical usage and $15 per night with electricity use. The Shelter is available for rent at $30 per day by calling the campground at 626-0531 or City staff at 626-2207. A Kansas State fishing license is required to fish in the facility.
