Area COVID-19 Numbers for February 24, 2021

The numbers released by the KDHE, Seward County Health Department, and surrounding Counties for Wednesday February 24th show Seward County has had 3,872 individuals test  positive for Coronavirus since April of 2020. Of those, 3,593 Individuals have recovered from COVID 19 with 29 deaths reported.

Southwest Medical reports current hospitalizations at 4 which includes out of county residents being treated at SWMC. Total active cases in Seward County are 279.

Around the area, Stevens County has 580 positives, 568 recovered, and 7 deaths. Haskell County 407 positives, 395 recovered, and 6 deaths,  Grant County has 966 positive 946 recovered, and 17 deaths, Morton County has 253 positives, 242 recovered, and 9 deaths. Meade County has 490 positives 473 have recovered, and 9 deaths, Ford County has 5,562 positive cases, and Finney County has 5,314 positive cases. Beaver County 436 positives, 413 recovered, and 6 deaths, Texas County has 3435 positive tests with 3331 recoveries and 24 deaths.
