An Evening of Friends, Food, and Music Benefits a Local Family

The Liberal community is helping a local family in their fight with cancer. Saturday will be an evening of friends, food, and music at the Seward County Activity Center. The Doris Van Whye Benefit Dinner and Concert takes place from 4 PM to 11:15 PM. Kims Barbecue and Meisenheimer’s Barbecue will serve food from 6 PM to 8 PM. JS and The Bachs perform from 5 PM to 6 PM. Janie Kitch and Becky Robinson will perform solos from 6 PM to 6:30 PM. RBC The Band will perform from 6:30 PM to 7:30 PM. The Wooden Nickel will play from 7:30 PM to 8:30 PM. Tom Foolery performs from 8:30 PM to 9:30 PM. Eight Balls and a Box takes the 9:30 PM to 10:30 PM time slot. Livid rounds out the evening from 10:30 PM to 11:30 PM Saturday night. Tickets are 25 dollars and are available at KSCB and The Legend at 15th and Western, First National Bank, Daily Leader, Brier and Hale, Carlson’s Yippe Yi Yea, Southwest Times, McElroy Shelter Insurance, and Jone Monument.
