All Saints Days Continue

KSCB News - June 3, 2015 8:25 am

Students who plan to attend Seward County Community College/Area Technical School in August can get an early taste of college life at All Saints Days events scheduled throughout the summer. Part enrollment, part tour, and part social, the All Saints Days are designed to launch students into a successful first year.

All students who attend classes at SCCC/ATS must provide either ACT test scores or take the diagnostic COMPASS test for effective class placement. The COMPASS is offered as part of every All Saints Day, with testing at 9 a.m., in the Hobble Academic Building. At 12:30 p.m., registration for additional events begins. New students learn to navigate the on-campus computer system, receive their student IDs and log-in information, meet with advisors, enroll in classes, and get their bearings as they navigate campus.

All Saints Day is free. The Admissions Department requests that students register online, either by calling the Admissions office, 620-417-1102, or by visiting the online registration page, via through the Admissions link on the website, www.sccc.edu.

All Saints Days scheduled for the summer include:

Wednesday, June 10

Monday, June 22

Thursday, July 9

Wednesday, July 22

Tuesday, August 4
