Accident Injures 5 Near Tyrone

An 8-year-old Tyrone boy was among five people injured Thursday evening, at approximately 9:47pm,  in a two-vehicle accident northeast of Tyrone on U.S. Highway 54, according to  the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.

The names of the injured boy and a 14-year-old Kansas girl were not released because they are juveniles.

Also injured in the crash were Rodney Koehn, 76, of Montezuma, , and Andrea Medina, 18, of Liberal. Another Kansas woman, Maria Alousa, 49, of Liberal was not injured, the OHP said.
