Gary Dan Byram

MEADE – Gary Dan Byram, age 73, passed away on February 7, 2026, at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita, Kansas. He was a longtime resident of Meade, Kansas.

Gary was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Connie Byram, with whom he shared fifty-five years of marriage. Together they built a life full of laughter, love, and unwavering support.

He was the proud father of two children: Chriss Isenbart and her husband Bryan of Derby, Kansas, and Troy Byram and his wife Ashley of Gardner, Kansas. Gary cherished time with his three grandchildren, Evan Isenbart and wife Kiani of Haysville, Kansas, Dylan Isenbart of Derby, Kansas, and Remington Byram of Gardner, Kansas, as well as his two great-grandchildren, Avalynn and Emery Isenbart of Haysville, Kansas.

Gary was the owner of Byram Construction and worked at CMS Electric for a number of years. Known for his strong work ethic and dependability, he took pride in his work and in serving his community.

His greatest joys came from time spent with his family—whether fishing, watching OU football, or trying his luck at the casino. Those moments of togetherness were what mattered most to him.

Gary will be remembered as a loving father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, and for the honesty, dedication, and support he showed to those he loved.

In accordance with his wishes, cremation has taken place, with a family celebration of his life to be held at a later date. Fidler-Orme-Bachman Mortuary of Meade has been entrusted with arrangements.
