Crews responded to a fire at the Preferred Beef Group in Booker.
Preferred Beef Group is a meat processing plant in Booker.
The Booker Fire Chief says they responded to a fire at the plant, and the plant has been evacuated.

At this time, the fire is mostly under control and no injuries have been reported.

Multiple agencies responded to the scene to assist with containment. Those include crews from Darrouzett, Follett, Perryton, Liberal, Seward County, Booker EMS, Lipscomb County and the Texas Department of Emergency Management.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
