On January 19th at approximately 12:59 p.m., Liberal Police Officers and emergency personnel responded to a reported non-injury traffic accident at the intersection of W. 2nd Street and Lincoln Avenue.
Through investigation, officers determined that a red 2008 Chevrolet Silverado was traveling westbound on W. 2nd Street. A black 2015 Chevrolet Camaro was stopped at the stop sign on Lincoln Avenue and failed to yield the right of way, pulling into the intersection and colliding with the Silverado.
No injuries related to the incident were reported on scene. The driver of the Chevrolet Camaro was cited for failure to yield the right of way at an intersection.
