A One Vehicle Accident Claims The Life Of A Satanta Teen

A one vehicle rollover accident has claimed the life of a 17 year old Satanta teen. The accident occured at 8:40 Saturday evening when a 1998 Dodge pick up being driven by Shaun Michael Bauer 17, of Satanta was heading east on County Road 240th, 4 miles South at 1.6 miles east of Sublette. Bauer lost control of the vehicle and entered the north ditch. where the pick up then rolled ejecting Bauer and his two passengers, 13 year old Allison Kinsley of Sublette and Alyssa Tatro, 13, of Liberal. Tatro and Kinsley were taken to Southwest Medical Center to be treated for their injuries, Bauer died at the scene. Seatbelts were not in use by any of the occupants in the vehicle.
