TYRONE — The small town of Tyrone, home to roughly 800 residents, a local school serving pre-K through 12th grade, a convenience store, an auto sales lot, and several churches, is asking for help from the community.
The town’s water tower is in need of repairs, and after exploring multiple options, officials say they are still falling short of the necessary funds to complete the work. Repairs will be completed in phases, but the town says donations of any size will help make progress possible.
“Any donation, big or small, would be greatly appreciated by the town of Tyrone,” officials said. “Thank you for taking the time to support our small, friendly, wonderful community.”
