On Saturday, October 18th at 4:32 pm, the Turpin Fire Department was paged to a semi fire north of the Beaver River bridge on 83 highway. The flames set the east ditch on fire  even with the gusty winds the fire didn’t make it far before trucks were on scene and had the fire out. Balko Fire was called for assistance, Beaver County sheriff deputies were on scene along with OHP that took care of the traffic and ALL State Towing  got the highway fully opened back up after limited access
