As a result of the Special Meeting Tuesday morning, Seward County Commissioners took action on two items.
The Commission made a motion to put out a request for proposal for a general practice attorney on a contractual basis.
Nathan Foreman will complete the month of October, working both Commission Meetings in the month of October. He will also complete the tax sale he is currently working on and help transition in the new attorney once selected.
After a 30 minute recess, allowing Legal Counselor, Nathan Foreman, to review an agreement with Foulston Siefkin, the Commissioners took the following action.
The Commissioners made a motion authorizing Chairman, Scott Carr, to sign the letter of Agreement for Legal Services with Foulston Siefkin and giving the County Administrator authority to expand the scope of representation as she sees fit.
Both motions carried unanimously 5-0.
