Juana “Juanita” Camacho Barrios, age 56, died on Saturday, September 13, 2025, in Wichita, Kansas.

She was born on June 24, 1969, in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico to Andres Camacho Salaiza and Alejandrina Barrios Medina.

Juanita was united in marriage to Joel Mendoza Raymundo. She was a homemaker and loving mother to her two children, Edgar and Ashley. In addition to being a mother, Juanita adored her two grandchildren, Rose Shine and Sage Lily, who brought joy and light into her life. Juanita was often found sharing stories and laughter with them, creating memories that will surely be cherished for generations to come. Her memories will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew her.

She is survived by her husband Joel Mendoza Raymondo,

She is preceded in death by her mother, Alejandrina Barrios Medina,

Brother-in-law, Gabriel Ovalle.

Visitation will be from 9am to 5pm, Monday, September 22, 2025, at the Hornung Family Funeral Home, 1212 W 2nd Street, Liberal, Kansas.

Rosary to follow at 7:00 PM, at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, 1510 N. Calhoun, Liberal, Kansas.

Funeral Mass will be at 10am, Tuesday, September 23, 2025, at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, 1510 N. Calhoun, Liberal, Kansas. Mass will be celebrated by Reverend Charles Siewert.

A burial will follow at Liberal Cemetery.
