Texas County Trash Service Bid Goes to RWM

Representatives of the Seward County Landfill were in Guymon Monday morning to present their bids for trash service for Texas County to the Texas County Commission. Representatives from Rural Waste Management were also in attendance with their bids. The board unanimously went with RWM, because their prices for roll off waste containers, whether it be 20, 30 or 40 yard, was quoted at a rate of $150, for all towns; Adams, Hardesty, Hooker, Tyrone, Baker, Optima, Guymon, Goodwell, Texhoma and Yarborough. Seward County’s prices fluctuated from $5 to $115 more than RWM’s rate of $150.
