The Cinco de Mayo Committee of Liberal will hold a Community Fiesta Pageant on Saturday September 13th, at the Seward County Activity Center starting at 7:00 pm with the doors opening at 6:00 pm. Several young ladies will be vying for the crown and title of Miss Southwest Fiesta. The pageant will consist of Introduction, Interview, Cultural Costume, and Gown. The contestants will also be competing for scholarships.

The Southwest Community Fiesta will take place on Sunday. The Fiesta will kick off with a parade that will begin at 2:30 pm in Downtown Liberal. From there the Festival will move to the Seward County Activity Center. At 4:00 pm there will be live music, Folkloric Dancers, Food, Games, Entertainment, Vendor Booths, and more. The Fiesta will conclude by 8:00 pm.
