Liberal’s Common Consumption Area (CCA) allows visitors to enjoy alcoholic beverages within the Common Consumption Area (CCA). This area is outlined in yellow on this map.
🔷 Where can I drink?
Public sidewalks & crosswalks within the defined CCA boundaries in Downtown Liberal.
Public street consumption is only allowed during approved road closures.
Alcoholic beverages are not permitted in public parking lots within the CCA.
Entry & exit signage and pavement markings show the boundaries of the CCA.
🔶 When can I drink?
Noon – 11:59 p.m.
🔷 What can I drink?
Drinks must be purchased at authorized businesses and be served in a non-glass container no larger than 16 fluid ounces which displays the name, logo, or identifying mark of the establishment where it was purchased.
You cannot bring your own alcohol into the CCA.
🔶 Which businesses are authorized under a CCA license?
Three local businesses are currently permitted to sell and serve under a CCA license:
