Lewis G. Collins, 70, of Perryton, Texas passed away Friday, August 8, 2025 at home in Perryton , Texas. A memorial service for friends and family will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Sunday, September 7, 2025 at the Museum of the Plains in Perryton, Texas.  Cremation arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home, Inc. of Perryton, Texas.

Lewis was born on August 14, 1954 in Liberal, Kansas to Loren Collins and Joan Henage Collins, the third of their 6 children. He graduated high school at LHS and went on to take courses at  vocational technical in Liberal, Ks. He  loved the road whether it be driving it in his work truck or his Harley. He loved children and animals as well as working on his bikes with his sons.

Lewis is survived by three daughters, Tiffany Parish and husband Justin of Perryton, Texas Tosha Collins of Liberal, Kansas, and Angela Robbins of Dennison, Texas; two sons, Jonathon Collins and Loren Lee Collins, both of Emmalena, Kentucky; one sister, Lori Merz and husband Steve of Liberal, Kansas; one brother, John Collins of Liberal, Kansas; six granddaughters, Ezra of Perryton, Ashlyn Loredo of Cactus, Texas, Vicky Collins of Emmalena, KY, Legacy, Taviera, and Catalina Boga of Liberal, KS; and six grandsons, Bently Roach, King and Ferrius Olson of Liberal, KS, Lewis Mondale, Mikey, and Tony Collins of Emmalena, KY.

He was preceeded in death by his parents, Joan And Loren Collins, Brothers Kenneth “Gene”, Charles, and Everett; as well as his stepson Allen Yeager.
