The Shawnee Tribe, in partnership with Global Gaming Solutions, will celebrate the grand opening of their recently completed $78 million expansion of the Golden Mesa Casino at 11:00 AM on Friday, August 22.

 

The casino, located about two miles southwest of Guymon on US Highway 54, opened in September 2019, creating a new tourism and entertainment destination in the region. When it opened, the casino generated 175 jobs and about $4 million in annual payroll.

 

With its new full-service restaurant, 99 luxurious hotel rooms, 45-slip RV park, and the 80,000-square-foot gaming floor boasting over 1,100 electronic games and 10 table games, Golden Mesa has increased its daily workforce to approximately 250 employees.

 

Global Gaming Solutions, a wholly owned subsidiary of the Chickasaw Nation, manages casino operations, while the Shawnee Tribe maintains ownership.
