A two vehicle accident occurred Wednesday afternoon claiming the lives of 3 Meade residents. The accident happened on US Highway 54 at approximately 3:35 pm, 9 miles west of Greensburg.

A 2000 Ford F150 being driven by Teresa Christine Davis, 68, of Meade, was Westbound in the Eastbound Lane. A 2026 Freightliner being driven by Dishant Kukreja, 22, of Sunnyvale California was Eastbound in the Eastbound Lane. The Freightliner went left of center to avoid the Ford pickup when the Ford reentered the Westbound Lane and impacted the semi.

Davis received fatal injuries in the accident, as did two juveniles in the pickup ages 13 and 10 also
