Severe Weather a Factor Monday

A tornado was reported on the ground north of Spearman highlighting a Monday of severe weather in the area. Tornado warnings were posted for northwestern Ochiltree, southwestern Beaver, and southeastern Texas counties based on that twister. Strong rotation on radar prompted tornado warnings for Sublette and Satanta. No major damage has been reported as this time. Golfball to two inch diameter hail was reported five miles southeast of Satanta in Seward County at 2:45 p.m. Severe weather is a possibility for the area again Tuesday.
