Low-Income Dental Clinic To Open Soon In Dodge City

KSCB News - May 24, 2010 12:00 am

A low-income dental clinic will open as early as June in southwest Kansas.

The United Methodist Health Ministry Fund has provided a $75,000 grant for the first two years of operation.

Several other supporters also are helping to make the Dodge City clinic a reality.

Those supporters include the United Methodist Mexican American Ministry and dentists who have agreed to donate a day a month. Plus, organizers are negotiating to get oral surgeons from Hays to come to the clinic.
