The Kansas Highway Patrol and local law enforcement agencies will be conducting a sobriety checkpoint in the 200 and 300 Blocks of West Pancake Boulevard (U.S. Highway 54) in Liberal from 11 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 28, to 2 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 29.

The purpose and goal of the checkpoint is to deter and remove intoxicated drivers from Kansas roadways.
