Ford County Man Killed In ATV Accident

An 83-year-old man has died after an ATV accident in western Kansas.

Hiram H. Brown Jr. was on a private drive when he lost control of the ATV.

The Kansas Highway Patrol says the vehicle apparently hit a metal cattle feeder, overturned and came to rest on top of Brown.

The highway patrol said the accident happened Thursday afternoon in Ford, a small town southeast of Dodge City.
