Accident Causes Bees To Fall Off Truck

According to a report in the Guymon Daily Herald, a semi-truck carrying a full load of honey bees ran off the shoulder of Highway 54 Monday outside of Hooker. The driver over corrected and 24 bee hives were thrown completely off the truck while 100 hives were shifted to the very edge. The truck, on its way from California to Iowa, received a helping hand from Jess Nelson and Jimmy Schobert to reload and get on its way.
