Bombs Away for Lady Saints in First Round Win

The Lady Saints hit 9-19 from three point range and connected on 54 percent of of their field goals in a 98-56 win over Allen County (8-23) at the Green House Tuesday night. Rachel Barnes scored 23 in her last game in the Green House. Kendra Spresser added 16 points and making four of six three point shots. Liz Ginther dropped in 12 and Sheila Washington added 10. Seward head coach Toby Wynn says Seward executed well. “We did a good job of executing offensively and getting open looks and making extra passes,” Wynn said. “Defensively I thought we were solid for the most part in what we were trying to do.” Wynn is 13-4 in post season games. Seward plays Coffeyville Friday night at 7 PM in Wichita on B107.5. Seward won at Coffeyville earlier this year.
