Rodriquez and McPhail Move to Consolation Bracket

Liberal 160 pounder senior Carlos Rodriguez won his opening match 4-2 over Aaron Bialek of Bishop Miege. Rodriquez dropped his second match moving him to the consolation bracket at the State Wrestling Tournament in Wichita. LHS 189 pound sophomore Justin McPhail won his opening match 6-4 over Emporia’s Adam DAngelo at state in Wichita. McPahail then improved to 2-0, before dropping his third match 8-2. McPhail also moves to the consolation bracket.
