SCCC taking Applications for Board of Trustees Vacancy

LIBERAL, Kan. – Seward County Community College is accepting applications to fill a vacant position on the Board of Trustees. The position became open when Sharon Hobble resigned in July.Those interested in applying for the position should submit the following items for consideration by the Board of Trustees:

* A letter of interest, which should indicate the reason for which the applicant desires to be appointed to the SCCC Board of Trustees.

* A resume indicating educational background, professional experience, and community involvement.

* A statement indicating knowledge, involvement and understanding of Seward County Community College.

All required items must be submitted to the Office of the President of SCCC no later than Monday, November 22, 2021.

This Board of Trustees opening was legally published in the High Plains Leader & Times newspaper on Nov. 4, 2021 and in subsequent editions, in compliance with the legal requirement that board openings be announced and opened for at least 15 days.
