Seward County Commission Approves Waiver Application for Grace Place

The Seward County Board of County Commissioners met Monday evening and Proclaimed the week of October 3rd through the 9th as 4H Week in Seward County.

The Commission approved a waiver request for Grace Place Pregnancy Center to host a Fundraiser at the Seward County Activity Center.  The First Southern Baptist Church request for use of the ag building was discussed.  It never came to a vote.  Commissioner Steve Helm and county manager April Warden agreed to pay for one night each of use of the facility.  The First is for Cottonwood Elementary Families, the 2nd for the Church.

Commissioners approved Resolution 2021-26 which will set November 1st, 2021 at 5:30, a Public Hearing for a request to close Road G and approved an agreement with KDOT on several realignments on the new Highway 54 project.

Appointed to the Fair Board was Rosa Conley, Amanda Kolb, Mary Rose, and Marsha Mosburg.
