Burn Ban Continues in Beaver County

The Beaver County Commission voted to designate another week long burn ban replacing the one from last week. The ban means it is unlawful for any person to set fire to any forest, grass, range, crop, or other wildlands, or to build a campfire or bonfire, or to burn rubbish or other material that may cause a forest, grass, range, crop or other wildland fire. The county made the burn ban yesterday and it will be in effect seven days. Anyone who violates this resolution will be guilty of a misdemeanor and will be subject to a finre of no more than 500 dollars, imprisonment of no more than one year, or both.
