Younger Turpin Looks to Continue Playoff Tradition

Brock Kappelmann - August 19, 2021 7:13 am

The Turpin Cardinals are no stranger to November.  They have qualified for the playoffs out of rugged B-1 seven consecutive years.  Turpin was 8-5 last year but returns just three starters back from that team.  They have good interest for ninth year head coach Justin Hannah.  There are 36 Cardinals out for football.

Some of the key Cardinals are Sr. WR Javier Talamantez, Jr. LB Kaden Moses, Jr C Drew Batt, Jr. G John Epp, Jr. OG/DE Bailey Boyd, Sr. OG/DE Reid Hendrich, and Sr. QB/TE/DE Payton Harvey.

The Cardinals will be featured during Sportsguys on Thursday morning.  They open their season by hosting Beaver August 27 on 102.7.
