Peggy Suzanne Lamberson (Sewell), 59, passed away at home in Salina, KS on July 12, 2021 from cancer.

Peggy was born in Ulysses on April 7, 1962 to Franklin D. Sewell and Patricia A. Sewell (Burrows).

Peggy graduated from Ulysses High School in 1980. She attended college at Dodge City Community College, in Kansas and Stephen F. Austin State University in Texas. Peggy married John David “Dave” Lamberson on 4/21/84. Peggy grew up in Ulysses, Kansas, but as an adult she made homes in Garden City, Topeka & Salina. During her youth, she enjoyed 4-H, family vacations, swimming, water skiing, track, basketball, hanging out with friends and helping out on the family farm. As an adult, Peggy was a homemaker and loved being there for all of her family. She cherished every moment spent with her sons, her daughter-in-law and her grandchildren. She enjoyed visits with her siblings and their families and she also loved to watch and discuss sports with them. Her favorite teams were the NE CornHuskers and the KC Chiefs.

Survivors include: Sons: Jacoby B. Lamberson (Wife: Cassandra) and Brock A. Kampling (His Father: Chris Kampling). Brothers: Jeff Sewell, Troy Sewell (Wife: Roxanne), Grandchildren: Nissa, Dante & Korben Lamberson,  Nephews: Jason Stallings, Joshua Sewell, Nieces: Melissa Hampton, Justina Dishman, and Jessica VanSchoelandt. Plus, many other nephews, nieces, great nieces and  great nephews that she loved dearly.

She is preceded in death by: Her parents: Franklin & Patricia Sewell, Sisters: Theresa Monkres & Beverly Metcalf, Dave Lamberson, Brother In Law: Clay Metcalf, Niece: Carla Maggard and her Grandparents.

Visitation will be Friday, July 16, 2021, 10 AM to 8 PM, Robson Funeral Home, Ulysses, KS.

Funeral service will be Saturday, July 17, 2021, 11AM, Church of Christ, Ulysses, KS.

Burial will be at the Ulysses Cemetery following the funeral service.

Robson Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
