USD 480 Approves Mower Purchase

The USD 480 Board  met this evening in the LHS Auditorium at 6:30. After several reports, updates and  Consent Agenda items, the Board  approved the 2019-2020 vacation hours not used by October 31 to be rolled to accumulated leave or paid. As it is now, Policy GCRH requires vacation of the prior year fiscal year to be used by October 31.  Due to Covid19 and staff not being able to use their vacation, the  exception was approved for the 19-20 vacation hours.  If a staff member has not used all of their vacation hours by October 31, USD 480 will allow the employee to roll their remaining hours to accumulated leave or to be paid for the hours not used.

The Board of Education also approved the purchase of a Hustler Super 104 with 35hp Kawasaki engine from Keating Tractor in the amount of $22,000.
