From Seward County Commission Chairman Nathan McCaffrey

Joe Denoyer - March 12, 2020 8:59 pm

There are no known COVID19 (aka Coronavirus) cases in Seward County. Information about any confirmed cases will come from official channels through Southwest Medical Center or the Seward County Health Department. Any information not through those agencies is likely false.

Additionally, at our regularly scheduled meeting this Monday, March 16 at 5:30, the Board of County Commissioners will receive information from local health and emergency service providers designed to educate our community about local COVID19 response procedures and dissemination of factually correct information.  A variety of local stakeholders have been invited to attend and participate. The public can also attend, or view the meeting on our county Facebook page or website.

Any immediate concerns or questions should be directed to the Seward County Health Department at 620-626-3369.

Nathan McCaffrey
Seward County Commissioner
