Beaver County Accident Injures Wichita Woman

A deer/vehicle accident occurred Saturday morning at approximately 3:20am 9 miles east of Forgan on US 64 in Beaver County.

A 2003 GMC Tahoe being driven by Betty Jones, 38, of Wichita KS was heading east on US 64 when she struck a deer in the road. The Tahoe departed the road to the right, rolled one time, coming to rest on it’s wheels.

Jones was  transported by Beaver County EMS to Beaver Memorial Hospital  by Beaver County EMS then transferred to OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City, OK and admitted in stable condition with head and trunk injuries.

A passenger in the Tahoe, Sedric Washington, 35, of Jacksonville, Florida was transported by Beaver County EMS to Beaver Memorial Hospital. He was treated and released.

Seat belts were in use in the Tahoe.
