Liberal City Commission Meets, Approves General Obligation Bond Projects

The Liberal City Commission met Tuesday evening at 5:30pm for their regularly scheduled meeting.

Among the items on the agenda that were approved was the timetable for General Obligation Bonds. The Commission approved moving forward with the Street Sweeper and City Hall Bond projects and approved the Authorizing of the 2020 Series General Obligation Bonds through Ransom Financial of Wichita.

The City Bus Public Rights were approved and the Commission approved increasing the Kansas Public Water Supply Loan Fund by $250,000.

Commissioners also approved the acceptance of a $4,000 grant from the Mid America Air Museum Foundation to purchase a 3D printer for the Mid America Air Museum.
