Liberal City Commission to meet Tuesday, Will Consider Filling City Commission Vacancy

The Liberal City Commission will meet on Tuesday November 26th at 5:30pm in the City Commission Chambers. With the recent death of City Commissioner Jack Carlile, the Commission will consider filling the vacant seat on the Commission as their first agenda action item.

Other items for the Commission to consider are Taxable Industrial Revenue Bonds for Liberal Hospitality, the 2020 Census Partnership, and the KC Park and Hike & Bike Trail.

The Commission will also look at authorizing the submittal of grant for a Bus Facility, a Bus camera, and for Bus Stop Improvements. The contract with Retail Strategies is on the agenda as is the acceptance of the donation Bob’s Diner.

The City Commission will also consider the Motorola Tower Equipment agreement and the Motorola Subscriber Lease Purchase agreement.
