Vasquez Competes at State

Liberal’s Priscilla Vasquez met Mia Agpoon from Derby in the first round of 6A State Tennis
in Topeka Friday. She lost the first set 2-6, then won the second set 6-2. In her typical
2-hour match, Vasquez battled to the end losing in a tie-breaker. For her
second match, she was overpowered by Regional Champion, Gracie Foster, from
Hutchinson 9-1. This was a great experience for Vasquez, and she
represented our school with pride and grace.
