Two Injured in Sunday Crash in Texas County

Two young men were injured after running a stop sign Sunday afternoon a mile north of Hardesty.  The crash occurred at about 1:20 Sunday afternoon on US412 and Texas County Road Z.  The Oklahoma Highway Patrol reports 20 year old Chance Prewitt of Ada was driving a 2019 Ford F250 pickup west on county road Z when he failed to yield the right of way from a stop sign.  A semi struck the Prewitt vehicle in the passenger side door.  Prewitt was transported by Guymon EMS to the airport and flown by Apollo medi-flight to Northwest Texas Hospital in Amarillo.  He was admitted for head and trunk internal injuries.  He is listed in stable condition.  His passenger 19 year old Bradon Cole Henderson of Ada was transported by Apollo Medi Flight to Northwest Texas Hospital with head and trunk internal injuries and is listed in stable condition.
