Fatality Collision in Cimarron County

A fatality collision occurred 08-07-2019 at approximately 6:00 am on north US 287 northbound, approximately 10 miles north of Boise City, Okla in Cimmaron County.
a 2007 Chevrolet van driven by Hector Chicaj a male 18 yrs. old of Cactus Texas. Driver fled the scene as was later transported to the Cimmaron Memorial Hospital in Boise City by his employer. He was treated and released.
Passenger 1 Maria Ramos age26 of Cactus Texas was transported by Boise City EMS to Cimmaron Memorial Hospital in Boise City Okla, treated and released.
Passenger 2, a juvenile whos name has been withheld, age 16 of Cactus Texas was transported to the hospital via Boise City EMS and was treated and released.
Passenger 3 Daniel Castro-Tesum age 30 of Spearman Texas was transported byu Apollo University Hospital in Lubbock and admitted in critical condition.
Passenger 5 Catrina Lopez female 35 of Cactus Texas was transported by Life Star to University Hospital iin Lubbock, admitted in stable condition.
Passenger 6 Josefa toj-Turquiz female 28, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The vehicle was traveling at an unsafe rate of speed when the driver lost control and over corrected causing the vehicle to spin and go into a broad slide. The vehicle re-entered the roadway, then departing the roadway again and rolling approximately 6 1/2 times coming to rest on it’s top.
